  2. IONIQ 2020 38kWh Orders

    First Generation Ioniq
I’ve no idea if mine comes with mats or not and it’s not something that bothers me either......as long as they don’t want them back at the end of contract after never supplying them! 🙄🤣
  3. EV Challenges

    General EV Discussion
If, as an EV driver, your car use consists of commuting within the car’s range and you have charging at home your challenges will be different. That being my situation the biggest challenge is explaining range or battery life aren’t issues to me. if I needed to drive more than my range daily...
  4. Return to an EV - Ioniq 38kwh

    General Hyundai EV Discussion
In virtually the same situation as me. Had C-Zero then Leaf24 till Feb 2017, then gone back to diesel. Just ordered an Ioniq Premium, would have had SE but monthly jumped too much with 12500/yr deal. Now got to change or add additional home charge point as original 32a (only difference!) is...

30kwh Leaf. These have 8 year battery warranty, in the uk at least. Seem to be retailing at £12 to £16k for 3 year old cars, mileage, trim level and condition based variables.
  7. IONIQ 2020 38kWh Orders

    First Generation Ioniq
Email, yesterday, from finance company....completed all online, got confirmation today from Nationwide that they’d had their copy and it’s now with the dealer......whoever that is. Guess I just contact Nationwide or Arval (as finance) to say I’d take any colour if earlier? Can’t see Nationwide...

Only just had my finance documents to sign and my build date not for two weeks. Doubt I’ll be seeing mine anytime soon.
  10. Supplied leads?

    First Generation Ioniq
I might well go this route, if I can find a local spark who can change it. Cheers
  11. Supplied leads?

    First Generation Ioniq
IONIQ - which leads are supplied? Is there a type 2 to type 2 included? Wondering about changing my tethered type 1 and all that, or getting a 2nd unit not tethered. Cheers.

  13. IONIQ 2020 38kWh Orders

Interesting deal, very confused by them saying they charge £150 processing fee, then when you click the link it pops up with a £199 fee.....and they don’t list the excess mileage cost.....hopefully speak to them tomorrow to see if they can beat my Nationwide deal.

  16. Peugeot ION for sale

    Electric Vehicle Classifieds
Based on another thread, and having previously owned a C-Zero, I did insurance quotes yesterday for a 17yo (my daughter) for the C-Zero equivalent. Surprisingly I got a £995/yr quote, when the cheapest for the lowest ins grp car I had was £850. Very much brings these cars into consideration for...
  17. IONIQ 2020 38kWh Orders

    First Generation Ioniq
I’ve got a build date of 25/Oct for my order, any experience of Hyundai and what that actually means? I had a new Focus RS when they came out and it was in my hands within 2 weeks of build date.....but that only came from Germany. Does it depend on whether you’re popped straight onto a ship as...
  18. Dealers and their BS 🙈

    General EV Discussion
Agreed @donald ...... I thought Daewoo (was it?) were going to fix the model, perhaps they were ahead of the game.....at least by their sales model if not product.
  19. Dealers and their BS 🙈

    General EV Discussion
I detest car dealers. I’m sure the people are lovely to go out for a pint with, but why talk rubbish when they see a potential customer walk in? Today I had, “My wife drove off with the charging cable of her i3 still plugged in and nearly took the wall with her”. (Did this really happen?) In...
