I keep reading that the e-Niro has the biggest boot in its class with 451 litres. When I opened the boot at the dealership I was quite underwhelmed though.
From the perspective of being a father with a baby which means A LOT to carry for any distance (pram, travel cot, luggage for 3, toys...
Whilst generally loving the car; a bit disappointed with the "quality" of the boot.
The material liner barely seems to fit and the part backing on to the bumper is borderline dangerous; virtually bare metal and exposed holes.
I can only assume it's like that to encourage people to buy the boot...
We're waiting on a Leaf 40 to replace our 30, and I'm thinking of making a little insert to make an extra space in the boot for stashing camping stuff. Can anyone tell me if there is a major difference in the boot dimensions between the two models, or are they identical?

I bought this thick case foam so I can transport my telescope. It should help deaden sound from the back. Leaf bits N bobs fit nicely down the sides. Cheap too, saved me £100 over a telescope case.
