A little advice on car value please. I have a 2011 Peugeot Ion that failed the MOT last November due to underbody corrosion (as they often do). They quoted about £1000 to fix it. In the end we ended up buying a more recent Nissan Leaf anyway. (Number plate is SB11 CXF, Mileage is just over...

Our faithful 2012 Peugeot Ion just failed its MOT due to rusty rear brake pipes. Normally not a major task, but of course the rear pipes on the triplets run above the battery pack requiring it to be lowered and probably removed to gain access. Has anyone any direct experience of this particular...

My Peugeot Ion has developed an odd intermittent fault. Sometimes it does not ping into ‘ready’ mode when I turn the key, but if I shift int Reverse and back once or twice it then works. I suspect something worn in the mechanical linkage, or a flaky microswitch. Anyone seen this before?

I have had an iON for 10 months and although it said I'd get 93 miles fully charged (still does on the Peugeot website) I have never got more than 66 miles, far less when I use the heating and/or windscreen wipers - often 33 miles or less. I'm not so heavy, normal really, and there's usually...

Having recently purchased my 2011 52,000 mile iMiEV I would like to know if there is an existing owners club for the iMiEV and its clones? I think that it would be interesting to organise opportunities to meet with fellow owners at some national events. Looking forward to reading your responses...

Wife got a couple of warning lights on the Ion yesterday. When she got home I checked them out and it was the two ESP/ASR system lights that were on as a fixed light (not flashing). Funnily enough this morning they are now off. So checked the manual - see attached photo. ESP - Electronic...

Just wondering if anyone might have a spare manual for my 2012 silver Ion I recently acquired? I know there was a thread somewhere on here where dealers and Peugeot mixed manuals up, people got 2, someone got someone else's or something.

I only had my 9yr old 2009 plate I-Miev for 8-9 months, but it was an absolute adventure from the moment I collected it in Nottingham last year and brought it home to Scotland. After doing over 10,000 miles in it and pushing it too its limit in all weather and a daily 100 mile commute, it has...

Is there anyone on this forum with expertise who can facilitate cell replacement on old I-Miev cars, that are fully working but have lost battery? I feel I would not get any fair value to sell or trade in my I-Miev but other than reduced battery it is working perfectly fine, and you get to know...

One evening I saw the left headlight was dark. with a little tap on the glaas it was functioning again but not next time I was out. I thought i just change the glowbulb as I use to do in my cars but this one was not as easy as usual. I have to take the whole headlamp out as a Youtube...

So my recently acquired 8-year old 2009 Mitsubishi I-MIEV has a 16kW battery. I believe normally about 14kW would be useable, however I have only ever had approx. 10kW of useable battery. Last night I deliberately came home in it with very low batter (2 bars). I then left the heating on to try...

Okay, so new owner of a 2009 iMIEV, 43000 miles. I am going to have a fair few questions in the coming weeks as I get more used to my new car, and try to fix a few issues. Q1a. First up the wireless key thing. I just changed the battery for a new one, but still can't get it to lock or unlock...

The one problem with these cars is that the brake pipes corrode due to lack of underseal. The parts are not expensive, but the whole battery pack has to be removed to change them. THIS IS A £600 JOB!! If you are looking to purchase an I-Miev I would advise asking if this has been done! The...

Fully Charged has just done a review of the new electric Smarts. In the comments, someone claims to have done 1500km in two days in a CZero. What's the furthest you've gone in your iOn or CZero? Looking for inspiration! :-)

Hi all. I own an all-electric Peugeot Ion and I live in a terrace with no home charger. I bought the Ion secondhand to see if I could make the jump from petrol to 100% EV without going through the hybrid stage. I also have a petrol car. Buying the Ion seemed cheaper than the idea of trading my...
