just finding this video on youtube this evening of a r-link in a 2015 smart car infotainment system, smart fortwo, has got me curious now if the r-link interface in the Zoe can be changed now with different colours and icons ... might have a fiddle one day and see.
I have a 2018 smart EQ, which had a minor crash. Unfortunately the driver airbag deployed, so the car won't start anymore. The "READY" symbol in the speedometer just flashes three times, but nothing else happens.
Does anybody know how to repair this thing? I have been at a Mercedes...
I really want a smart eq however, I work 22 miles away from home. Would you say that commuting roughly 45 miles per day on a single charge is pushing it? Would you say it is easily achievable regardless of a couple of steepish hills along route? Looking for real world figures. Thanks.

2013 Smart Fortwo Electric Drive in White and Green
An awesome little two seater. The perfect city vehicle
Quirky and fun, the Smart Fortwo ED is a fantastic city car. It drives great, it’s fast than a Renault Zoe, and it can squeeze into just about any space (even end on!)...
I am currently saving to buy the Smart ED fortwo. I understand that there is a 22kwh version coming. Is it known exactly when thus model will come out?
I feel that the 7kwh version is just a bit too long for a charge given the short range it has.
Anyone knows the range in the real world of these cars? I've googled this several times but can't seem to find an answer. Actually I found just one who claimed the real range is that of 65miles, which seems a bit low.
