Jumps from £39,000 to £39,500.

was priced at £38,500 towards the end of February.

Do you think this is down to demand or because of the virus?

You would think with Tesla shares sliding that the price would come down to stimulate growth.

Well PICG has gone down by £500, and for the UK at least they can sell more than they can make due to BIK at 0% from April. RHD market will always be short until Giga Berlin is finished.

Share price is still up 50% on the year. Whole market is sliding, not just Tesla. They can currently sell all they can make.

You would think with the PICG reducing by £500 they would shave £500 off the price to compensate!

Wow, your grasp of economic theory is amazing. :)
Meh! I think those that profit of off others should be the first ones lined up against the wall frankly.

They have reduced the price of the LR to keep it eligible for the grant so I guess they've upped the price of the SR+ to compensate for that in the UK market!

Tesla haven't change the price of the SR at all, just the LR
The SR is still (in base spec) £42,500 + £990 delivery & documentation = £43,490
What has changed is you don't get £3500 towards the car from the government any more you get £3000
The LR has been reduced to £49,990 (excluding delivery & documentation) to allow it to be under £50k and still get the grant.

They did increase the advertised price for the SR+ on the website from £38:5k to £39k about two weeks ago, so it is now £1000 more than it was a month ago.

And also £3150 more than it was 7 months ago. Prices can change anytime. They are also sold out in Europe for this quarter.
