In which case I would strongly advise against getting a used PCP with £0 upfront, but that's your decision to make, not mine....
At least the money is going towards owning a car and not just on public transport though.

Yes that's true, but my worry would be what I would do if I couldn't service the payments...I think if COVID has taught us anything is that income security is never guaranteed!

Depreciation on EVs is much lower so the risk isn't quite as high, but being in a position where you have to pay additional money to get out of a finance agreement isn't ideal. At least if you put down 50% upfront you never have to worry about owing more than the car is worth.

Not to mention donating thousands of pounds to finance companies for absolutely nothing in return doesn't seem fun!
