Hi All, I'm thinking of grabbing a cheap EV for a short period, but I have some questions that I'd like to ask.

1. The car I'm looking at has 57k miles on the clock, and an estimated range of a 62miles @50% charge. Would this be accurate?

2. Can I charge on a 7kW Type 2 connector without an adaptor ?

Thanks in advance.

1. No. It has probably been driven very gently to achieve that on the guess-o-meter. In winter, I go by 30 miles max for 50% charge. Or 40 miles with some spare for our usual 80% charge.

2. No. The car is a Type 1. You can only charge on a Type 2 socket using your own Type 2-Type 1 cable.

a 2012 24kWh Leaf has lost some bars probably on 9 bars left or so and in this cold weather with the inefficient heater on your mileage will be around 40 - 50 miles when charged at 100%

i know i got one
