Hi all - got a 2013 Leaf with a flat 12v battery and its locked.
Tried to use both manual keys but they turn and don't unlock the vehicle.
Has anyone had this and if so how did you resolve it?

Cheers

Maybe try spraying some thin greaseless lubricant suitable for locks in the slot then work the key back and forth a few times? (I use one called LPS-1)

On modern cars the key slots get zero use except in scenarios like this so lack of use could cause them to misbehave.

When I got my Leaf last year I tried both my key blades in the doors and they both worked in both doors.

The only other thing I can think of is your car has had the key fobs replaced in the past and they did not swap the key blade over to keep the original keys that match the car ??

Could be very difficult getting into the car without smashing a window if the keys refuse to work. :(

Probably a good idea for everyone reading this to check their manual key blade to make sure it works before they end up in a situation like this...
