Don't know about the spec in Japan, but the previous gen Leaf in UK you needed a different charger module for 6kw AC. Possible to do but not cheap.

2018 Leaf Many features are the same as the UK model. Only the biggest difference is the charging port Type 1 and some can charge with 3 kW and some with 6 kW. and if there are 6 options on the menu you are very lucky. but 3 is too slow. so i was hoping to pay some money and get changed.

The 2018 Leaf in the UK was only available with a 6.6kW charger...

That looks like a Japanese model where I guess 3.3kW was still the standard and 6.6kW an upgrade. This is a factory fit part and there is no officially approved way to upgrade after the vehicle is built.
Some third parties do offer the service - I have no idea if that is available in your region, but it will be in the thousands of dollars (or equivalent).
