I think I may just have qualified - 40.2 miles by the time I returned home from work today. All electric with at least a mile still left in the battery. Please may I join the 40 mile club?

Well done Graham. Your next mission, if you choose to accept it, is of course 50 miles on one charge. It's quite feasible in the summer.

Managed my first >40 miles yesterday. It was f-ing freezing! Edit: Just realised hold isn't allowed. Ok I withdraw this effort. Hope to be back here before long with a fully green orb

Ha ha! Thanks! It takes 3 cars - two side by side and one end-on at the back. I'm very lucky to have it but I did go years tinkering with cars out in the street because we were without even a driveway.

Perhaps we should move on from the "how many miles clubs" to a new thread based on how many cars fit in (or how big, how many cars cars would fit in if it wasn't full of junk) my garage club? Start a new thread @RichS and we will follow. Photographic evidence required of course.

I’m in lads ?
An excellent achievement at this time of the year but my understanding is that, to qualify, there should be no petrol consumption at all . . .

Graham, I think that so little petrol got used, and the range achieved was so comfortably over 40 miles, that we can overlook that technical indescretion in this case! But Chris may get challenged a bit harder if he tries to repeat this to join the 50 mile club! As for the 60 mile club, well, that really is tough, scrutineers descend in quantity then ! :)

Maybe 50 miles in the summer,60 is too far to stretch to.
I’ll need flat roads to even attempt it,as I’m in wales, there’s no chance ?
