I had a charger installed by Pod Point (a Solo 2 unit) in May last year, and at the time they spoke of developing a system to allow a user to login and see what data had been collected and transmitted for the usage of the unit. A couple of months was mentioned. Unsurprisingly, I've heard nothing in a year, so just sent them an email enquiry.

Anyone else with a Pod Point heard anything about this facility?

I too have a PodPoint (no idea what type). PodPoint have been going to have an online monitoring for 18 months or so but they are having problems.

I phoned Charlie Harbage 020 7247 4114, [email protected], who could not have been more helpful. He emailed me my last six months telemetry after a few days.

Now the problem. The information is mostly gibberish There are STARTS without ENDS and ENDS without STARTS. The HEARTBEATS are just communications and may be ignored. I think the only thing of importance is the rightmost date/time and the number before the word END which appears to be the date/time finish and kWh consumed for a charge (Prius Plugin) which appear to be connected to reality (I have not kept a record of my charges to check) If I add up all the numbers before the word END it is close to what the car says was consummed for that month. The rest may be ignored. A number of the entries are wrong e.g. in the middle of the night or when we were on holiday. No wonder they are having problems putting it all online.

Interestingly the 4.47417E+11 is the PodPoint telephone number in scientific notation, I can telephone my charging supply (It never answers, nor rings)

Ah yes, it was Charlie Harbage to whom I wrote a couple of days ago, and I spoke with him back when I ordered the charger originally. Interesting to see the data format, thank you. Maybe he will reply to me in due course.

Any update? I would be interested in getting any available date from my home chargepoint - I currently guess the amount of overnight charge by the advance in the SOC.
