Hi

So I already have an isolator in the meter cupboard which allows isolation of the tails into the consumer unit.

One electrician has told me I then need an additional Isolator after the SWA leaves the cosumer unit and you aren't simply allowed to isolate it using the MCB.

However on any install video I've looked at this is never done.

Is it an actual requirement?
