Lovely orange 2009 Aixam Mega City for sale. Waiting for an MOT test (will do within the next few weeks as a bit short of spare time).
Car runs fine, I can't say how far can you go, but I can promise 10-12miles on a single charge. I've been using the car to go to work and come back, and I've been charging it on every single opportunity to do that because of battery chemistry. The previous owner told me the reason for sale was he couldn't pass the driving test because of his age, he was 70 something.
The car is having 2 driving settings: low (limited to 30mph) and high (limited to 40mph). I was all the time driving on low, it did teach me a lot how to drive EV. The average power consumption in measurements from the wall socket meter is ~240wh/mile. To do 10 miles I was consuming 2.2-2.5kwh depending on the driving conditions.

Waiting for collection. Does anyone know what is happening in Germany or Netherlands? Nearly all enquiries regards to the car were from there. The buyer is coming from Amsterdam to collect it..

The battery is old already, it's lead agm's. I think it's 12kwh, 48v X 264ah (or 241ah, can't remember)

I think a 12kw lithium battery would make the car so much better, I saw one of them in yatley

It would, but is it worth it? To be honest, within a nearly a year I needed to change just an accelerator cable (same as for the bicycle to change gears, £1.50), very simple car

But you would get a good 10years battery if not more and upgrade the motor as its only 48v to 60v might get 50mph

There are two speed settings: low (max 30mph) and high (max 40mph). Most of times I was driving on low, not to prolong the range, but because driving ev is very different from ICE car. I stopped to feel stressful in the traffic jams and I stopped to care about somebody behind me who's not happy with my 30mph
Even with my iOn now I'm mostly driving 25-30mph with a lot of unhappy ICE'rs behind

I must say that I've got "slower means faster" to be true to often with that Aixam

Not surprised, still have mitsu 3000gt in the yard a bit less bhp than yours (222 I think) but it was mmmm shame only 4 gears, with huge appetite above 2500 rpm

Still keeping it. Hard nut regards to the parts, I bought it from USA, some parts doesn't match with UK spec GTO I need to change one of them units, forgot how is it called, gives the spark to the spark plug, there 3 of them; gear box retrofitted from sigma, would be nice to get from GTO, and I wouldn't like it to change myself do to the weight of it; and headlights doesn't work (power dissappears somewhere behind the relay as the relay clicking when turning on/off). Otherwise everything is fine
Decided to keep it because prices in USA started to go up, hopefully it will go up in here also
