Alloy rims and all weather tyres

I do a quite a number of miles at night when the temperature drops below 5 degrees. I was thinking of getting a set of alloys with all weather tyres that I can change into by myself and use during very cold weather months (and swap to summer tyre wheels when weather warms up again).

for alloys, are there any ID4 specification or requirements one needs to be aware when shopping them? Any good websites?

I have been swopping wheels myself for a number of years. For my last car I got a set of Jaguar F Pace alloys from two Jaguar main dealers who were selling ex display wheels online. ID4 might be too new a vehicle for this just yet. I have also bought wheels from dealers breaking insurance write off's and had them refurbished. Or as others have suggested you can buy a specific set of winter alloys from the likes of Wolfrace, Mr Winter Wheels etc.

I have found that wheels do get a bit more damage prone in winter and kerbed mine in snow in Scotland in February. So have you thought about a set of much cheaper steel wheels as they tend to use with winter tyres on the continent? If I was to do it again that's they way I would go I think.
