It frequently disappoints me that the great ideas of the concept never actually make it through to production. Of course, I understand that there are many reasons why this is so but unfortunately it is often not the option people might want that makes it through. It is often determined by the economics of manufacture and that is sad.

I have been involved in several focus groups assessing new car ideas and I have been excited by the ideas I have seen only to see few of the innovative ideas actually made it through to the production version.

Does anyone know if the iMiev has an aluminium structure?
