Hi

Has anyone attempted the above yet. So I've updated my Pixel 2 to Android 11 and went to the car to try out the wireless connection for Android Auto. With Bluelink already connected the car said I it can't use the wifi so I disconnected Bluelink, BIG mistake! It next reset the car settings back to factory settings, lost all radio presets the lot. Such a faff ! I guess I was doing something wrong or not correct etc.

I got out the car, locked it and went back in the house. Anyone had any luck?

Luke

No doubt it needs a head unit upgrade to support it. It is fairly new.

Given the instability of Android Auto on even a wired connection I would expect explosions under a wireless connection.

It was my understanding that the IONIQ does not currently support wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. I believe certain hardware is required?

Happy for someone to tell me I’m wrong as wireless CarPlay would make my life a lot easier.

I believe there's an Indiegogo page for an Android Auto Wireless dongle mentioned elsewhere on this forum.
