Well my Leaf24 gen2 had another Nissan major service and MOT today no adviseries total cost £263.85, i know this on the high side but it preserves the full dealer service history and 12 months RAC cover so i cant complain. The young lady said when i collected all is good Mr Steele battery check its in full health to which i replied well if you count being a bar down yes it is.I still get 80+ miles on a full charge and apart from the crappy app not working so i cant preheat these cold mornings its ok but soon due a new EV. Just bought a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander4h PHEV for our second car which the wife uses and she barely uses any fossil fuel so pretty pleased with our motoring footprint at the moment, hopefuuly i might be able to afford a new EV late 2020 and there might be more choice so fingers crossed.

I won't be paying for dealer service next year. I don't see the point. I have European breakdown cover.

The car itself is out of warranty - 3 years / 50k miles. EV components have longer warranty for another 5 and any repairs will have to be dealer but until then I'll get my local garage to service it.

During the first MOT on 29th September 2019, a leak was spotted on near side shock absorber. I was told that should be covered by warranty (MOT non dealer). Main dealer service was due in October and I informed them about the leak.

When service eventually happened, I was quoted 254 for the fix as base warranty is 3 years / 50k miles and escorted on 29th September 2019. I then raised a complaint with Nissan who agreed to cover the costs this week in this instance.

Dealer service needed to maintain 8 yr battery/HV component warranty.
Nope

I have emailed Nissan CS case officer dealing with my warranty claim. I'll update this post when I hear back
