Has anyone had any first-hand experience of any kind with either of these companies?

Both are new-ish startups, without a released product yet.
They both have youtube channels.
Arrival are currently concentrating on buses & delivery vans, Charge seem to be intending to install Arrival's drivetrain into replica classic cars.

Arrival do their R&D at Banbury, and are building their UK "Microfactory" at Bicester.
Fully Charged have done a couple of videos at Arrival.

The UK's equivalent of Rivian, lots of shiny Youtube videos, but not a lot of substance to back it up.
However they've managed to become an $8bn company listed on NASDAQ, so must be doing something right.
I've tried several times to get an idea of prices, I own a last mile logistics company, but pulling out your own teeth would be easier.

UK electric van maker Arrival (47K.BE), said on Thursday that LeasePlan, one of Europe's largest car leasing companies, has made an initial order for 3,000 vans and will become its preferred leasing partner.

I'm sure they are.
A bit like Amazon ordering 100,000 Rivian vans when production of their SUV's is in its infancy.
I'll believe it when I see it.
