Does anyone have any pre-written printable polite notices about blocking charging stations?

Something reasonably generic so it covers any vehicle that is not actively charging. This would then cover:
  1. An ICE vehicle blocking a charger
  2. An EV vehicle that is blocking a charger when it's not plugged in or when it is plugged in but not actively charging
I did some Googling and found something for scenario 1 but it doesn't really apply for 2.

Could just print off some cards with this link, or get some of their products: https://yplac.co.uk/
They need to make some for EV drivers and without the obscured expletive they are so fond of. (there are others!).

When I receive my Amazon ones, I will wake up my old DTP software, make one, and will upload for all to use.

Thanks for that link. I've just had a look accompanied by some rather inelegant snorty laughs!

I once suggested to a blind friend that what she needed was a diamond tipped white stick. As I'm more the active type I've thought of climbing over some of those cars. With a pram I'd just push through the gap..

Isn't it time parking on a charging spot got real penalty notices?
Never seen any parking enforcement wardens going about near chargers.

They would not be needed if there was CCTV camera pointing at the bays.

In fact a dummy camera would probably be as effective (with adequate signage.)

Someday all chargers will have NPR cameras fitted..

There was a thread about a year ago (maybe longer) about the wardens in a certain car park being over zealous and fining folk charging in charge bays with EVs. The consensus was that they needed training on the different types of EV and what being charged looked like.

I can quite believe that but hopefully they will have received some training by now.

I've always found that hanging around for an hour or two for the drivers return before launching into a tirade of expletives works just fine 😉
If that's not your style, just let their tyres down, give them a real excuse for not being able to move.

Some car parks do. The shopping centre near my parents has a couple chargers, and the definitely fine folk for parking in a charging bay.

Though i've seen a few PHEV drivers park there, plug the cable in and not start the charge... which seems to be enough for the wardens to leave them alone, but is an incredible level of shittyness, especially since the charger is free!

As much as I'm a fan of needtocharge, it doesn't really help in this situation.

The app is designed to help considerate drivers to be contacted if they're away from the car.

An ICE blocker or (even worse) an EV blocker not even plugged in, are just arse holes. There is no cure.

I did see a Discovery being given a ticket for parking in a charging space in Alnwick last month.
