Anyhow here is a link to a French Tuner that can sell you a tunning box for either e-Golf


A global exclusive for VW E-GOLF 2015 to 2020. This tuning, from several weeks of research, improves not only acceleration but also autonomy. Removing the pedal response time will allow you to enjoy sportier driving without compromising the reliability and proper operation of motor protection and battery.
For 85 kW (2015-2016):
The 0-100 mph goes from 10,4 sec to 9,5 sec.
For the gain of autonomy, here is concretely what is calibrated:
• Brake energy recovery is disabled from 8 mph and under. (Originally 13 mph and under)
• Brake recovery gradually reaches full regeneration power if load is less than 85 %. (Originally it's from 75 % load)
• The delay between acceleration and deceleration is reduced by a few thousandths of a second to enable recovery faster.
• Recovery limiter climbed to 350 NM instead of 300 NM.
• Power in eco mode is reduced from 70 kW to 60 kW.
• Power in eco + mode is reduced from 40 kW to 30 kW.
• The battery running range is extended from 3.5 % to 93 % instead of 6 % and 90 % for an additional 4.5 %
• The battery storage temperature is increasing by + 5°C: Unreserved operation is now between-25°C to 55°C instead of-20°C to 50°C.
For acceleration gain:
• The peak power of the electric motor is maximized at 90 kW and stable at 88 kW.
• Power limiters are disabled with the accelerator at 100 %.
• Speed limiters are increasing according to modes:
  • Normal: 156 km / h @ 12000 rpm
  • Eco: 130 km / h
  • Eco +: 120 mph
• Full power is available up to 15 % battery instead of 30 % up to a battery temperature of 55°C instead of 50°C while maintaining the maximum manufacturer's threshold 60° C.
• Activation of launch control is now possible by simultaneously holding brake and accelerator at 100 %. The engine will be ready for take-off with 2 Kw upstream, giving you a few thousandths advantage second when you release the brake.
• The acceptable wheels slip difference with the anti-skating option disabled is now 30 mph instead of 0 mph.

• Brake recovery gradually reaches full regeneration power if load is less than 85 %. (Originally it's from 75 % load)
• The delay between acceleration and deceleration is reduced by a few thousandths of a second to enable recovery faster.

Reading down through the Specs again I noticed, there is potential for better range in ECO & ECO+ modes as the BHP of the car is lowered over the standard setting. Where as the Normal Mode the BHP is raised along with getting a "Launch Mode". It has benefits for people who want more range and those that would like more bite

It's still going to spin front wheels under hard acceleration. I'm looking forward to reduced drama with my rear-wheel drive ID.3.
