I was speaking to the Source London help desk today, and was told that the latest news is that the cards have been extended to the end of the year - 31/12/14, rather than end of June.

Sounds like the takeover is still on, but delayed. Meantime things carry on as they are at the moment.

While I have a Source London card, which gives roaming for Source East, Source East itself looks the better deal, as for £10 a year it gives roaming to both Source London, and PIM. And they haven't announced any forthcoming changes AFAIK.

I also went for source east for the dual roaming. Have tried a couple of source London chargers, all worked ok.

Am certainly intrigued at how it will pan out.

I haven't tried the gatwick ones, but will be going there in October, so it's on my list to try. Wonder if I can leave it on charge for 5 days whilst on holiday

I wouldn't actually tie up a charger for 5 days as that would be proper a$$hole behaviour! However, grabbing a few hours charge before moving it to long stay doesn't sound too bad! Especially as I will be flying at 06:00 !!
