Has anyone used any appliances from their 100v 1500w AC outlet at all? I have seen a youtube video of someone using a microwave. I'm in New Zealand and will have to either buy a transformer or import appliances from japan to use it. Unless someone has any other solutions? Would love to have a fridge and a kettle plugged in for camping.

Hi, you are super lucky to have that feature, I wish the Australian PHEV had it, even 100V as I'd love to be able to use the PHEV battery in our caravan.
You may find these can be used with a new plug maybe? 1000W-AU Step Up Transformer Voltage Converter 120V-240V
They are designed for USA 120V, however depending on your appliance may still work on 100V,eg possibly if the appliance doesn't have a motor? Ask suppliers what your needs are.
The other option would be to buy a converter from Japanese AC down to 12V DC, and use 12V appliances which are common in camping.
