For folk that might not know, the original Netherlands based Open Charge Alliance communication protocols such as OCPP 1.6, 2.0 .1netc is the industry standard used to communicate with chargers and the back office across EV charging networks.
OCPP xxx is used to monitor the health/status of a charger, initiate remote resets, provided for data exchange on charging sessions including authentication and billing etc. So important stuff for running a decent charging network.
Looking at their website today, there are well known charger rmanufacturers on the list of participants such as ABB. Also Network Operators such as FastNed. These are all companies that seem to be competent, know what they are doing and operate compliant with agreed protocols. This all results in high levels of customer satisfaction.
Participants - Open Charge Alliance as at 17th September 2021 12:00 noon
Just noticed scrolling through that list, that SWARCO seem to be missing from the participants in Open Charge Alliance.
Does anyone know if in fact they are fully paid up members of Open Charge Alliance?
