Discussed on the ariyaforums .com site, I can confirm another two cases of the remote climate control/alarm issue - both mine and a colleague. Other things I've noticed are the auto parking brake not always coming on when selecting park. With regard to the display, the sat nav in my car took an age to start the other day (rest of the display was fine) but it did eventually start. Another fairly regular issue I see is the mobile phone status icons (battery level and signal strength) not showing despite the screen working OK.

Has anyone seen such and any other gremlins?

Not sure what the remote climate control issue is but I’ve had Leafs since 2013 and the remote stuff was hit and miss at the start and hasn’t improved in 10 years.
The app and remote features work without issue, is just that turning on the climate control either via the app or a schedule, triggers the alarm. I'm sure a software update will fix it.

I had to call out the RAC yesterday morning. Headlight malfunction then system malfunction displayed on the dash and car turned itself off. Could not select drive or reverse. I tried 5-6 times with no luck. The RAC attended a few hours later and of course, everything was fine.

I'm going to book the car in for the above and also:

Alarm triggered by climate control.

Parking brake does not always come on when pressing P.

Lumbar support pumps itself up - noticed when getting back into the car after it's been turned off.

Lane assist/steering wheel control malfunction warning.

Icons on the top left of the screen (mobile details ie signal strength, battery level, settings icon) don't always appear.

Cruise control is very jerky (bordering on dangerous).

I'm with you @RamblyRunner - we're almost (wrongly) programmed to report bad news. I enjoy the car too - the only issue that affects actual driving is the jerky cruise control - the other issues are annoying but I hope they're fixed with software updates. We have to accept that we're driving computers with wheels these days, and as the drivers, there's little we can do ourselves.

My previous car was a 20 plate e-Golf and the adaptive cruise control was faultless. With the Nissan, it's either software, the sensor(s) or a calibration issue - having the brakes applied sharply when you're in the outside lane on the motorway just isn't safe. I prefer the Ariya overall and look forward to the issues being resolved.
