I did a simple test recently trying out different modes of maximum heating. The outside temperature was around 0 celsius.
While parked I started the Zoe and let it run for three hours.
First hour: heat to max and auto, except that I diverted all the air to the middle dashboard vents.
Second hour: same as first, but with AC off
Third hour: same as second, but with recyling on.
I had a Netatmo outdoor module placed 10 cm away from the vents with air blowing directely at the module to measure temperature during the experiment.
The temperature of the air blowing from the vents quickly reached 30 celius then 45 celius. Temperature remained at 45 celius regardsless of the changes I made (AC off, recycling on).
The consumption however was a different story.
First hour; 2 kw
Second hour: 2 kw
Third hour: 1 kw
