Just read about a joint Nissan & others research project, Govmt funded, has culminated in a 230miles hands and feet off drive from Nissan Tech at Cranfield, Beds, to Nissan factory, Sunderland, in a modified '67 reg but early shape Tekna, presumably 30kWh.
I'd rather they invested in developing battery temps management! Four recharge stops, they omit to tell us whether the Nov 2019 trip was completed in one day, last stop is listed as a hotel, must check what charge speed it offers!
Tried a similar 205 miles in October, Wakefield to Brecon, 3x successful Ecotricity rapids, then a rubbish BP/Polar at Llandrindod Wells added 2hrs of tedium, made it a long day!
I imagine their battery temp was pretty high on arrival at Sunderland.
Or Govt funding could have gone into developing cheaper rail fares....
