I've had my KIA Soul EV 64kWh since July and have only ever charged to 70%.
I understand it's a good idea (mandatory requirement?) to occasionally charge to 100% to enable cell balancing.

I have Octopus Go so normally charge between 0030h and 0430h.
If my car gets to 100%, say at 0400h, is 30mins sufficient time to complete the cell balancing?

My understanding of battery balancing is that it happens during the last couple of percent of charging.

So by the time it’s reached 100% it’s already done.

This is certainly how it works on the LEAF.
