I have a Mercedes B class electric 2017 model.
The official says that it should charge 87mile range (not on paper but in the real life) without extender.
in the summer time we managed to get close to 87miles but now in winter it went down to around 52-54miles.
Just over 50miles isn’t quite enough to go somewhere a bit far and come back without charging!
Is it absolutely normal to go down that much?
please tell me your experiences with your battery in winter.

thank you

My bmw i3 rex loses 30% in the winter so down from 150 to about 110 - combination of heating the battery and having heating in the car as well increase in lights etc.

I go from Surrey to Kent quite a lot (65 miles) so use the range button and use E+ and pre heat the car on charge, but leave the heating on during the trip, I use the cruise control and drive on the speed limit on the sat nav speedo an get there with around 15-19 miles left. If by halfway my range is below 35 miles I would slow down and turn the heating off but this has never happend and Iv'e had the B250e more than a year
