Hello.

I am looking for knowledge about how to built my own EV charger. I want to know all links/videos you find interesting.

What EPC’s can you recommend?

Looking forward for your replies. Thanks!

Lookup OpenEVSE in internet, also Viridian Mainpine products. The Viridian Mainpine supports variable current control, e.g. to suit solar output, but doesn't really understand the concept of pausing a charge at 0A for a while as clouds go overhead. It's much happier to completely stop & then completely re-start the charge instead, which a) exercises the contactors more than I might want, and b) makes my Ampera sound a toot on the horn every time the charge (re)starts. But it's possible to knock up a simple relay controlled circuit to mimic what you'ld get out of the Viridian if it did do a proper pause. (You intercept the CP line, signal a fake car back to the ECU, and simulate a Cp line with no square-wave to the car).
