March 2014 was quite a month in the UK EV story. Currently getting the marque breakdown, but the total is a big step.

This data is publicly available on the SMMT website, and logs PIC grants rather than sales. Difference is likely to be small single digits though.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, haven't seen an equivalent thread anywhere, Paul, but please put it where it should be if there is one? Thx.

I suspect that the majority of these sales are i3s and Leafs.

The end of the year will be interesting, with the eUp!, the eGolf and the Golf GTE coming on stream.
Indeed - and these numbers do not contain any Model Ss. Having heard some rough numbers, that will also make a significant contribution.

455 PICG vehicles in April, well up on last year's 188.

Well I suspect there will be a few more Ampera sales than last year!!!

I used to subscribe to this information, it's sometimes quite fascinating to see new cars, new trends. The EV aspect is really going to be one to watch over the coming months and years, especially at "big" trade-in/new reg months.
