I collected my new i3 94Ah REX this week and loving it.
I wondered if anyone has successfully fitted and used a bike rack on an i3?
I have a bike rack that I used to put over the boot on my 1-series, but unsure whether it would be safe on my new i3.

Grateful for any suggestions. Happy motoring ☺

It's something I considered a few times on mine, but I concluded in the end any pressure on that all glass tailgate was probably not a great idea.

I resorted to taking the wheels off, putting the bike in a bike bag and sticking it in the boot with the seats down.

There are plenty of people using Seasuckers YMMV, there is nothing official and nothing currently in the pipeline currently.

Ecohitch would be very illegal in the UK. I am not sure its that above board in the US either. There isn't much to fasten onto in that area other than the motor mountings - not a great idea.

Thanks for all the info. I had considered the Talon Seasuckers, the promotional video on their website is impressive.

I'll check them out.
