Has anyone else with an Android phone had issues with the head unit connecting to bluetooth recently?

It's been fine for literally years, and then in the last week or so, it kept refusing to connect for music. I've unpaired my phone, and now I can't pair it for love nor money. The head unit happily says "Paired", but the phone times out on pairing...

Same behaviour with my wife's phone too (which is admittedly the same model as mine).

My own Leaf 24 is fine, but a loan Leaf 30 that I had for a while (with the newer DAB radio unit) was forever disconnecting.
