BMW petrol cap/lid not releasing and am unable to fuel up.
Any ideas will be great.

It’s a known problem can be caused by pressure sensor fault, or the solenoid seizing.

Manual release is the green pull tab under the bonnet.

As usual, Jack is 100% correct. A sticking fuel flap is usually associated with strange percentage readings on the display which is suggesting that the fuel tank is not fully depressurised. The pressure sensor on my i3 was replaced a year ago: fortunately, the car was still under the manufacturer's warranty.

I assume you have had your i3 for a while?

If it is new to you just in case you have not read everything yet in the manual, you have to press and HOLD the button for a few seconds to get the flap to release, if you know this then forget my comment and get it seen to as Jack says.

When I used to have this issue I'd push in about 2" in from the bottom right corner of the flap and it's usually open up.
