Reports suggest that due to unexpectedly high demand, particularly in Europe, BMW are planning on increasing production of the BMW i3 already.

This is VERY good news for BMW, and electric car adoption rates in general I'm sure.

I'm very keen for it to do well, having had such a great experience with MINI and the MINI E it would be great for BMW to grab the bull by the horns and begin changing public EV perception in their usual "we're doing it, it's cool" style.
