It most definitely is a battery lease, I have checked and if you don't pay, RCi just switch off the capability to charge it, we have one in the workshop at present which has been "switched off".

Have Evans Halshaw (EH) changed their policy then? Earlier in the year, and online via their website, I paid £200 to reserve a Zoe and have it moved to my local branch of EH. Not long after they came back to me saying “Sorry, we don’t move electric vehicles” and refunded my £200.
I have had a call from the local dealer asking how I wanted to finance, but nothing about time scale of moving car

Sorry for the pedantic note, but a '56 plate' (as in thread title) would date to late 2006 (6 or 7 years before the ZOE existed).

You were right
"I have just been informed by Head Office that the movement of the Renault SN65NTY, has been cancelled due to us not being an electric site.
I just wanted to apologise for the confusion in this from head office. I believe the other site should have performed a refund for you. "
Will have to keep looking. I have seen another not too far away that I may go and have look at.

What you looking for ? Maybe better with a private sale or ev specialist

A poor show from Evans Halshaw again. I travelled a good distance to see another Zoe at an EH dealership, the car although fairly new looked like it was being driven regularly by a salesperson and was a complete shed, both inside and outside. I’d paid £200 to reserve the car, refund swiftly requested. Personally I’d avoid EH.

Looking for a Zoe, i have a friend who has one, a 40kWh. After being in his a Zoe seems to be a good fit for me as a first ev. As in my first post I don't do many long distances so s 22kWh should fit my needs and budget which I can't quite stretch to a 40kWh.

Deleted my reply. Incorrect information. (Would have preferred to delete this reply completely but there doesn’t seem to be a delete option?).

We requested a Move me closer, of a Zoe from a EH Renault dealer in the midlands two weeks ago.
Had seen listed on their website as being applicable for the move closer, salesman over the phone confirmed, sent email with link; reserved and paid £200; next morning after not receiving the video walk around I had requested, phoned to told very bluntly, you need to check your emails; two emails stating can’t move electric vehicles, and refund will be credited within 0-5 days, both in the junk folder.
Phoned EH again, clearly not interested, spoke to their accounts department; was asked do you want your £200 refunded; crooks! Another 3 phone calls chasing the deposit and two weeks before receiving back again.
Avoid EH!

@AndrewR Where you based. I'll be selling my car in the new year before my ZS EV arrives. I could be persuaded to part with it sooner.

We do holiday in the UK and drive to the destination whether on south coast or Scottish highlands. Should I be worried about range or am I having range anxiety without cause.
Consett to Brighton will take a very long time. Recharging every 80 miles for an hour and half (assuming it's an R model with 22kW charger) makes for slow progress. I have driven my 20kwh Q model from Bristol to Consett a handful of times and that took a lot of patience.

Thanks for the offer but I have now purchased a 65 (still want to put 56 as i'm used to it as its my birth year) plate Dominique Nav from a local dealer, 34000 miles £7100. Now getting used to quiet less stressful driving so far enjoying it.

Wow, prices sure have headed northwards in the last year, and it doesn't seem to be slowing. We bought a 16 plate Dynamique Nav with approx. 22,000 miles on the clock in September last year for £6,000 and sold it to a dealer in March this year for £6,150 to put towards a ZE40 at £15,000.

Enjoy your car Andrew, we've never looked back.

Cheers

Stephen
