My LEAF's manufacturer's warranty recently ran out and I was quoted £519 to renew for a year.
Sounds steep to me. Is it worth it?
My gut feeling is no.

Anyone paid for this?

Seems a lot for one year, but could still be worth it if your parking brake fails.

Stick £519 into a savings account, then either splurge in a year's time, or you have £519 (+ a little interest) towards a parking brake repair. :)

I heard it was around £400ish to extend the leaf warranty to 5 years. I'd phone around.

Yes, I'd check that £519 isn't for two years rather than one. Unless Nissan expects the car to pretty much fall apart (bearing in mind battery, motor, inverter, charger, gearbox, drivetrain are all covered by the 5 year warranty anyway)

I have paid for 2 years extra on both mine. I think it was 560 for 2 years. Does it cost more if you leave it till later?

Hi,
I'm from Fish Brothers Nissan Swindon.
Can you give me more info on the type of LEAF you have?
For one year our warranty is £298, for two it is around £508
