I'm going to be getting the 30A Chargemaster wallbox installed shortly and wondered if someone could tell me what protection they use on the final circuit to the charger? My consumer unit in the garage is wired directly from the meter with earth leakage protection provided by RCBOs. Based on this I'd assume that they would use an RCBO for the charger and would like to know whether they use a 32A or a 40A and what type they use, i.e. B/C/D?

Any info appreciated.

The one they fitted, about 4 years ago, next to my consumer unit has 63A on it. I'm assuming that's 63 amps. It says something like CHiNT (with the H,i combined) NL1 -63.
