Quick question. I charge my Outlander PHEV outside in a private driveway from a BG installed tethered station which came with a 4.5m cable. Although it reaches the car in its usual position, I could really do with another couple of metres to route it neatly and not have it suspended over a small gate. I've looked at a couple of cables (type 1) online but am I right in assuming that that both ends effectively plug into each other so that I could buy one to extend my reach and it would act like a domestic extension cable. My plan would be to leave it permanently connected and stored around the charger.
