I'm not sure this is a condition to be met. I have had the warning several times without opening a rear door, unless it means a rear door opened not just in the moment of powering off the car, but at any time since the car started.

I thought it was triggered by detecting some weight in the seats, like shopping bags, baby seat, etc.

I noticed that I have a setting in my Convenience menu which does not appear in the owner's manual. My car is set to Spanish, but it should translate to "Rear passenger warning", so I guess disabling this will cause the message to go away. And in my case, as I have a car seat installed, it's always triggering every time I power off the car.
