First chance to try 100 miles in one charge today and managed. March 2016 Car, had the BMS update in March 2018. Work trip from Nottingham to just outside Stafford, 48.5 miles each way (majority on the A50) and then drove a few miles near home to take me over the 100. At the start of the day on 99% charge the GOM showed 82, half way at my meeting venue it showed 42 left for the 48.5 miles home. Then made it home and drove 4 or 5 miles more.

My bad, the maths response is refering to a completely different picture (from nearly a year ago!) :censored:
lol

4.2 x 23 (how did a car with depleted SOH manage to use 23kwh) = 96.6

Probably due to careful driving and regenerative breaking.

Sorry, what are you trying to say?
Just that it's odd. For such a depleted pack you managed to use more than original capacity. And yes some of that will be down to regen. But then that your average mpkwh is low for the range you covered.

101.7 / 4.2 = 24.2 kW. It’s not unheard-of. It’s not even unusual. The same car is now showing 98% battery SOH. If anything, it just goes to prove that the BMS update does nothing for range and just corrects a pessimistic SOH reading.

I've run a 98% SOH car from 100% (showed 21.5kwh and this was pre-BMS) to 0% (it had 200Wh left) and covered 132.2miles and regeneration something like 7kwh in total. Total consumption just clicked onto 23kwh. So to me it's very much unheard of.

I've never seen anyone post a 24kwh consumed trip report (that hadn't laterly owned up to just topping up a few kWh because they were feeling the fear factor of running out). ;)

Ok well I’m not lying but if you don’t want believe me I don’t really care.

4.2 mpkwh computes as 101.7 miles driven / 4.2 mpkwh = 24.2 kWh consumed in total. If we say the trip started with 22.2 kWh available @ 100% SOC, then 2kWh was generated through regen. You find this hard to believe yet claim to have regenerated 7kWh?

You might also notice that the average speed was 27.5 mph, in Eco mode, with the air con off. Do you really think 101.7 miles, on a single charge, driving under these conditions, is unheard of? I thought you were a seasoned Zoe driver.

Next time you want to try and accuse somebody of being less than truthful on a 10 month old post, it might be an idea to at least make sure you’re correct first. Otherwise you might end up looking a bit silly.

Yes I wouldn't want to claim my Zoe has 24kwh of usable capacity. 32 pages of "discussion" would surely prove that. Hey maybe we can dig out the infamous YouTube video that no one can watch beyond the 10th minute to see what Renault were actually saying about the pack.

I confess I'm not following what this argument is about, but I guess I wouldn't take the ZOE display too literally. We can see that when I did 142 miles on a charge that the display says the Total Consumption was 23.0 kWh, but using its own figure of Average Consumption of 6.0 mpkWh gives 142.0 / 6.0 = 23.67 kWh.
