Posted elsewhere but thought I’d start this thread so others could have a go if they wish. Done in a R110 ZE 40 with a single charge. Hoping to try this in the new Zoe ZE50 one day and see if I can get more than 325 miles! Only issue is how long it takes to do, especially in urban driving with such a low average speed.

Could this thread be made sticky like the other Clubs?

@King Ming I don’t know but the car just kept giving! Why don’t you see what you can do in your Q90? The weather is perfect for range tests at the moment!

261.9 miles at 12.4mph average = 21 hours 7 minutes

No thank you, I shall leave the range experiments to others :)
This was a week of normal use of the car. Obviously I did drive more carefully than usual. I didn’t drive 261.9 miles at 12.4mph for 21 hours 7 minutes! When the car was in motion, I kept up with the speed limit, but as I did it in London the car was often stationary, hence the low average mph. Although you’re right, I did spend around 3 hours a day in the car that week!

@Admin could this be made sticky like the other Clubs please?

Well done, how did you manage to use over 39kwh, no one else seems to use more than this.

Can you show a dash picture too that confirms your claim of a single charge.... I'd expect to see near flat battery showing and a mirror of your trip screen on the small trip on dash.

What is your battery SOH, out of interest?
I don’t know for sure. It’s a 2019 R110 with about 5k on the clock, so should be 100%?

You’d hope so. I once bought a used Q210 with 4000 miles on the clock and that had 92% battery SOH (prev owner used to 100% granny charge).

Better check with CanZE.

What's wrong with granny charging?
Nothing although it’s recommended for occasional use by the car manufacturers. This is because if the house electrics aren’t up to scratch, the continual draw of 2kW all night could cause overheating leading to a fire. Also I believe it’s not the most efficient way of charging. Also it’s not good for the battery to leave the car at 100% charge for long periods of time. Charge to full if you’re going to use the car straight away. Otherwise 80-90% if it’ll be sat around for a couple of days and 40-60% for a couple of weeks idle. A low SOH can often be improved by a few rapid charges.
