I was told that mine should arrive in the country between Nov 23rd and Dec 9th. Then it takes ~10-14 days to get to dealer where it usually adds another 5 days to perform final checks.

This means that in reality if it is delayed we will hit Christmas shut down and as such it could be next year, but if it all goes smoothly then late december. Was shown my vehicle on the system with all dates given - so if delayed to next year it won't be a long delay.

I'm not complaining, but don't you think it's bizarre that Renault pushed this Priority List said Only X number of cars being produced and now there's this apparent surplus.

Can anyone explain this?

The MG4 came out 10k cheaper?

dealer was surprised but as you can imagine happy to be getting more than they initially though, he even had a list of vin numbers, specs and colours

Maybe I should try and get my vin number...

Well at least I'm getting emails direct from Renault "Get ready for your Megane". Set of 4 emails to come.

Same - I had the first email too.
Fourth comes once we have the car so hopefully this year...

Had a call today saying my car is on a boat with no fixed dock date so still looking at mid to end December for pickup.

Just got a call from dealer. My car has been assigned haulage and will be in the dealership on the 7th 🥳🥳

Warn the bank first or they may auto-decline a large payment and block your card.

I was sent bank details in an email to pay into once they have the car and I have a collection date.

Was told that the port shuts on the 20th so it'll be next year likely 2nd week of Jan if it's not this week, even if, as I do, the scheduled delivery is next week.
