My scheduled delivery/collection day is 15 December. Dealer confirmed today that is still the case as their system hasn't been updated.

However, because of transporter/driver shortages they are now able to pick up the car from the docks themselves, circumventing additional delays.

Anyone else had their delivery updated or given a firm date yet?

I don't believe they are driving it. They are getting a smaller transporter to pick it up. Probably like Cazoo use.

I rang my dealer today, because I too have downloaded the app (similar lack of info), my sales rep isn't in until tomorrow. I always seem to ring when they are off!!

My print out shows 25/11 - 2/12 arrival in the UK.

So here's Mr Wishful Thinking. Only 300 Limited Editions built for the UK, (Limited Editions built first) how many cars does the ship carry? Surely, they will all be on the same ship.

As of today, I'm still being told 15 December, but my dealer will provide me with a car should my current car be sold in the next week or so.

My dealer has told me it will come off the boat at Portbury. Bristol. Pretty massive set up down there.

I'm getting no updates from my dealer despite one of the staff there saying their system should be able to give accurate tracking.

I would like an accurate forecast, due to deciding exactly when to release my current car.

As my dealer is happy to provide me with one of their cars, l contacted my insurance company. They say, if the gap between selling my car and getting my new car is 7 days or less, then there's no issue (other than the fact I have to tell them it is sold, just in case someone else has a RTA of commits a road traffic offence). If it's longer, I will have to terminate my policy and then, request a new Insurance quote for the new car when it arrives (the assumption is they provide me with NCB details). However, If I sell my car after the 6th Dec, they will give me 14 day grace, (this is because I will have owned my current car for over 1 year.

Why is everything so difficult?

I'm not complaining, but don't you think it's bizarre that Renault pushed this Priority List said Only X number of cars being produced and now there's this apparent surplus.

Was the notification via Renault or your supplying dealer? Either way it sounds promising.

Yes that's all I get at the moment. Which is a date that is looming large.

I'm not on Facebook, but my son is. Via that medium, there's evidence that a boat has docked, many Megane's have been unloaded and are going through their vehicles checks, with batches of cars already delivered to Dealers. So, it will be interesting to hear who gets the call first on here.

It's also worth noting that a customer who just rocked up at a Dealer on spec and discovered there were stock Megane's on their way, could be in their car before a Priority Customer. The same happened with the Cupra Born. Strange times.

Would be interesting to know the shipment date of those that have had cars hit the docks, so the rest of us can hope or wallow in despair...

Apart from telling me that there was a car available to test drive, I've not really had any notification from my dealer at any point.

My dealer print out reads very similar. My max end date is 15/12.

Mine's going on a cherished plate. I would be puzzled if a V5C came with a DVLA reg.

Same here I plan to transfer my cherished plate onto the megane , what's the best procedure ?

If you have your V778 Retention Document, give it to your dealer and they should pre register it for you and put your number on the car at collection.

Good luck everyone getting your cars in the fairly immediate future. If mine came tomorrow, I'd still have to wait until next week when the funds from the sale of my previous car gets deposited into the bank account. They don't do things quickly like the other buy back merchants.
