Which concurs with my dealer saying they would go and fetch it from the port.
I was offered the Service Plan, a figure was quoted and I challenged it, I had been quoted for an ICE vehicle, they came back to me and it was less than £5 a month. I took it. Also opted for wheel and tyre insurance, I've never done this before, but my wife will be driving this a lot and she has a wheel curbing history. 20" tyres don't come cheap do they.Renault UK just phoned me. Car now expected to be at dealers on 23 December instead of 20 December. He said he was 'confident' of that date. The delare needs to do an autoglym so no way I will get it before Christmas. Fortunately my old wreck got through its MoT without having to spend too much (a miracle) so iot doesn't really matter to me. And as someone else said, weather not great for the forseeable anyway.
Incidentally, although my dealer said maintenance plan was a single up front payment, Renault guy seemed to think that a new alternative, a paid-monthly plan, was now available. No idea if that is right or not!
Were you buying with finance? I saw those sort of figures if you were buying with Renault finance, but it is a lot more expensive (£15 a month) if you buy with cash.I was offered the Service Plan, a figure was quoted and I challenged it, I had been quoted for an ICE vehicle, they came back to me and it was less than £5 a month. Gaz, got your car yet?For me, before xmas doesn't matter as I have a birthday 2 weeks later.
Gaz
Not even a call from the dealer, 😢Gaz, got your car yet?
I'm still waiting for my V750 so the ultimate delay will probably be down to the postman getting caught short somewhere and needing some TP.Guess what. I called my dealership this morning, a call back was promised, nada, I called again to discover my Sales Exec is not in.
Asked for an update, best answer was, they have a batch of a cars undergoing whatever they undergo i.e. Sat Nav/Software updates or the like and until that is complete no DF.
I am assuming that this part of the process is not impacted by any Public Holiday breaks other than Xmas proper.
Wishful thinking maybe.
