Delivery Forecasts.

My scheduled delivery/collection day is 15 December. Dealer confirmed today that is still the case as their system hasn't been updated.

However, because of transporter/driver shortages they are now able to pick up the car from the docks themselves, circumventing additional delays.

Anyone else had their delivery updated or given a firm date yet?

Which concurs with my dealer saying they would go and fetch it from the port.
Courtesy of Facebook, my dealer has received and prepped ready for tomorrow, the First LE to be handed over by them.

The photos are on Facebook.
The boot doesn't seem to have a ledge to facilitate a raised boot floor. So the Renault accessory must have a different design.
Should be picking mine up before Xmas they have guaranteed (let’s see) it’s first they’ve sold so they said want to be on schedule. Really not in a rush with the weather and issues I’ve heard regards alarm problem. Seems those who have took delivery struggle with synchronising car-app for pre heating, etc on few FB groups. Best of luck to all the new owners 👌
All very random then.
Renault UK just phoned me. Car now expected to be at dealers on 23 December instead of 20 December. He said he was 'confident' of that date. The delare needs to do an autoglym so no way I will get it before Christmas. Fortunately my old wreck got through its MoT without having to spend too much (a miracle) so iot doesn't really matter to me. And as someone else said, weather not great for the forseeable anyway.

Incidentally, although my dealer said maintenance plan was a single up front payment, Renault guy seemed to think that a new alternative, a paid-monthly plan, was now available. No idea if that is right or not!
For me, before xmas doesn't matter as I have a birthday 2 weeks later.

If anyone has their LE car with them, can you please comment on the quality of the 360 camera images please and if possible post some pictures of it it action. Would like to know if having the smaller 9 inch screen means we are getting a crippled version of the 360 as well.

I was offered the Service Plan, a figure was quoted and I challenged it, I had been quoted for an ICE vehicle, they came back to me and it was less than £5 a month. I took it. Also opted for wheel and tyre insurance, I've never done this before, but my wife will be driving this a lot and she has a wheel curbing history. 20" tyres don't come cheap do they.

Were you buying with finance? I saw those sort of figures if you were buying with Renault finance, but it is a lot more expensive (£15 a month) if you buy with cash.
Ah, yeah Renault Finance.

Guess what. I called my dealership this morning, a call back was promised, nada, I called again to discover my Sales Exec is not in.

Asked for an update, best answer was, they have a batch of a cars undergoing whatever they undergo i.e. Sat Nav/Software updates or the like and until that is complete no DF.

I am assuming that this part of the process is not impacted by any Public Holiday breaks other than Xmas proper.

Wishful thinking maybe.

I'm still waiting for my V750 so the ultimate delay will probably be down to the postman getting caught short somewhere and needing some TP.

:(

Update from Renault now says my car will be delayed until 22nd.

Effectively then that's next year and the excuse is too many cars.

I probably would have been better off not cancelling my second order.

Priority list customer, delivery before Xmas. Which year?

Kind of frustrating right now.
Yep frustrating right now but we will soon forget the pain once we are driving around in our lovely meganes!
As someone asked for a picture of mine, here it is:
