We know that ZapMap doesnt get a feed from CPS as to live availability of CPS chargers.

CPS's own LiveMap seems to struggle too.

Does WattsUp offer an alternative? The status of the 6 Rapid Chargers at Princes Street charging hub in Dundee do seem to be changing status in a realistic manner. Amazing.

Downside is that WattUp desn't get any feed from Instavolt or BP Pulse so if your journey needs a mix of different networks, there might be a lot of app swopping for your navigator?

OK, just spoke with developers of the WattsUp EV Rapid Charger App.

They confirmed that in Scotland, the have live status of the following networks*:-
ChargePlaceScotland (Operated by SWARCO)
Osprey.
ForEv

They show locations but not live status for the following networks:-
Instavolt
BP Pulse
Nedfast
ERA
PodPoint
EvBox
Ionity.
ScottishPower Recharge

For Android users, paying 99p per month gets some additional features via Discovery Mode (will report on this later)

* depends on availability of data from the network operator

Say one was to plan a journey from Harthill, Lanarkshire to Lochgil
Ecoregion Map World Line Atlas
Lochgilphead Argyll using Future Journey and putting in start and finish destinations, this is what the outline charger map for rapids along the way would look like

Here's a screenshot from WattsUp showing Rapids in Borders, Lothian, Eastern Scotland, Northern England shire etc etc View attachment 150441
After plugging into 3 rapids over the weekend, my conclusion based on this limited sample is that Wattup reports CPS Rapid status ( green for available, blue for occupied) with a lag of about 5 minutes. Not perfect but the best there is out there.

So CPS and Zapmap have fallen out?
Wonder why.

Gridserve also not live updated on Wattsup.
Shame about BP too, as I use the M8 MSA chargers heading north/west.
