Responsible dog owners want to make sure that their beloved four legged friend is safe in their car. There doesn’t seem to be a definitive list of dog guards for EVs and it would be useful for potential owners. Feel free to add to this thread. Photos of dogs in your car or doggie seat belts etc very welcome!

There are lots of specialists out there that can make dog guards and cages that are custom fitted for you vehicle....it's obviously no different to the traditionally fuelled vehicle world.

As an example I had this set up made for my Subaru sub by a company called hamster baskets....they made the tailgate guard and I already had a Subaru dog guard fitted behind the seats.
The tailgate guard has two separate doors which allow the dogs to be secured with leads prior to exit Etc but also allows you to have the tailgate open in got weather but with the dogs safely secured inside.
