Hello from the Drive Electric Team!

We are now offering the NEW bigger battery model of the Kia Soul EV, currently set for deliveries in August (subject to change). NEDC range is set at around 150 miles and we expect it will likely achieve 130 miles comfortably, however we are yet to test the new model so don't take this as gospel.

Here is our headline offer:

PCH
Kia Soul EV 4dr
24 months
10'000 mpa
6 months Initial Rental (£1401.72)

Monthly Rental: £233.62

If you would like any further info or would like individual leasing quotes on the Kia Soul EV on;
- any mileage (from 6,000 to 50,000 per annum),
- with or without full maintenance included
- on a different length of contract
- or with an alternative initial rental

Just email me at [email protected] or feel free to me call on 0333 300 1050.
Do let me know what you all think on the quote,

All the best!

Not bad. How much would it be for 3 years rental, 10000 miles per annum and only 3 months initial rental?
I think it will do 113 miles - 130, I'm not so sure.

So for those terms you would be looking at - £244.27 (Initial Rental - £738.81)

Yeah it is all relative I guess, we have had customers in the old model getting 120 on around town driving but add other elements it will no doubt take a dive.

Is that including VAT?
35p per mile @ 10k over 24 month is not bad, better than your previous 6000 mile offering that worked out at 45p per mile over 3 years however at the time fleet drive under cut you considerably so need to see their rates.
Yes I am considering getting a 2nd one!

By 2nd one I mean 2nd EV not necessarily a Soul - not sure the 2018 model is forward thinking enough battery wise plus the bug collecting capacity of the windscreen probably as a result of the brick like aero-no-dynamics is extraordinary!
and I am still well hacked off over this Car Play Fiasco.

Hopefully the Ionic lease costs will also become more comparable once the new Leaf surfaces
I do however think the new Leaf will become the bench mark for the next couple of years.

It will be interesting to see what the EPA range is. If that's a genuine 120 miles then it's a winner. Old soul was 93 on the EPA so you knew you had that as a usable mileage for the majority of the year no matter what. 110 was about the best and in winter it was about 80 odd.

So the 30 will have a slightly bigger battery, which I guess will give it 20 odd extra miles over the 27? I suspect it might also charge slightly faster (up to 90-odd %)? Any other differences or way to distinguish between the two? Would have been nice to have option for leather, panoramic roof and app like in USA.

20!
If you get 5m per KW then it is going to be 15 max not 20 more likely it will be 12.
I thought my Soul had a 30KW battery with 27KW useable so to me at this time all they may have done is a marketing exercise maybe its exactly the same battery with a different label ;)

Korean driving cycle states 112 miles (180 km) vs todays 92 miles (148 km). That's 20 miles (32 km) more in my book. EPA is about the same give or take +/- 1 mile.

Battery is 31.8 nominal.

Thats interesting the 27kw has 30.5 nominal so buffer is reduced from 3.5kw in a 27kw model to 1.8kw for a new 30kw model. Not sure I would go for a 30kw if thats true.
