The event at Huntington Beach, CA was a little disappointing in that in other events the past three years have isolated EVs from ICE vehicles so that we can get great pictures of the participants in the event.

The City of Huntington Beach, decided to "enforce" its own parking, and commingled ICE with the EV participants, this ruins the ability to take a nice group EV pictures...

However, one of the benefits of EVents in California is the availability of all the "compliance cars."

Another cool thing that attended was the Nissan Bladeglider concept:

Also, the Urb-E "final mile" EV was there. Impressive from the initial Indiegogo campaign.

Looks like a fun day! It's always great to see some "different" EVs, there's not that much fun to be had poking round hundreds of Leafs identical to your own!

That's one of the things to be thankful for in California. Aside from Renault and the Outlander PHEV, we pretty much have access to all the Production EVs out there.

Thanks to the Air Resources Board rules, etc.

Wish we had some nice public and multi-manufacturer events like that in the UK, could be very fun.
We're doing our part to get to prove to the manufacturers that the market is here for EVs for them. The Fiat 500e and Honda Fit (Jazz?) and Chevy Spark make for awesome EVs that would do so well outside of California!

Unfortunately, the traditional manufacturer management are stuck in their ways. (Not Nissan or BMW with their all electric offerings.)
