Hi my drive selector on my BMW i3 is suddenly loose and you can still select D and R but not park . You can move it around but it kinds of feels loose as if it is not engaging in fixed positions as before.
Any thoughts about what has gone wrong?
Thanks so much

Hi, i just got the same with mine after a long time standing still. Have you found a way to fix it ?
Looks like this is available from Hubauer Shop. I'm sure the same part is used across all i3 models, and I wouldn't have thought was subject to component protection if you interchange, however don't quote me.

On the gear selector, on the end does that plastic in-fill trim come off to reveal a torx screw that connects it to the main unit?

Use a nylon trim tool to investigate, or pay BMW so you can access ETKA workshop diagrams for a month to see if that reveals anything. This part is available on EBay. Main dealer price will be horrendous.
