After a year of ownership I've rubbed a 4inch hole into the door seal about half way up getting in and out the car.

Has anyone else had the occur and if so how did they replace? Go to a dealer and have them buy/fit or find one online and do it yourself?

Thanks

Wow, no, my door seals are still good after four and a half years. And I have size 12 feet!

Blimey, door seals on modern cars are quite technical and can be quite expensive, plus side is that they are relatively easy to install.

Mine is in a similar state :( Any source on a patten part or which gm / vauxhall has the same one?
Went to a vauxhall dealer and the got they quoted £50 to order and fit it. I just had it taped up as they said fitting would be free at next service (due in Q4).

I know this thread is almost two years old - has anyone fitted a new bodyside seal to the driver's door recently?
I also have this problem. The selling dealer promised to send me one in the mail - but I won't hold my breath.
